- We are looking for Instrument Technicians to join our Sterilisation team at The Avenue Private Hospital.

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for the Hospital’s clinical departments and external customers. This role involves working closely with Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays, and equipment as needed. This is a critical part of the surgical process, and the ability to collaborate efficiently with your team to meet tight deadlines is essential.
You will ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD whilst practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
In this role, you will report to the CSSD Manager and work closely with a professional, efficient team.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in clinical sterilisation services, ideally within a hospital setting. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
You will also bring;
- Minimum 2-3 years CSSD experience.
- Certificate III in Sterilisation will be essential for this role.
- Ability to work across all areas of clinical sterilisation including loans room.
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster
