The Opportunity
Our Physiotherapists work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for inpatients across the hospital.
This position offers the opportunity to work across inpatient services - Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Neurosurgical ward, acute services; including ICU, surgical and medical and gen surgical wards services. Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.
The position is open to work as Casual weekday cover (Ongoing) OR Weekend cover and to cover Night Shift during the week.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and have a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
Essential Criteria;
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
- Minimum one (1) year of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting
- Weekday Availability and availability to cover weekday evening shifts
- Previous experience in acute hospital set up
- Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
- Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy treatment programs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Desirable criteria:
- ICU experience
- Weekend Availabililty
- Previous experience in a similar role
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $38.26 - $59.62 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
