About the Role

Pindara Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our expanding Clinical Trials and Research Unit. Our team conducts a wide range of research studies, particularly in the fields of haematology and oncology, with plans to broaden our services to additional medical specialties across the hospital.

Reporting to the Manager of the Clinical Trials and Research Unit, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of allocated clinical trials.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a team of highly engaged and respected medical professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee assigned clinical trials from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinical investigators and hospital departments.
  • Ensure all clinical trial activities are conducted in accordance with the study protocol as well as ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support participant engagement, including recruitment, screening, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all trial-related activities.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A degree qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, or a related research discipline.
  • Experience in conducting clinical trials or clinical research, particularly in haematology or oncology (highly regarded).
  • Proven ability to work effectively with busy clinical professionals and manage a dynamic, time-sensitive workload.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise multiple competing tasks.
  • Knowledge of Australian legislation and guidelines related to human research ethics and governance (preferred but not essential).

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
