We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Theatre Orderlies to play an integral part in our busy, dynamic Operating Suite.
About the Role
As a Theatre Orderly, you’ll be a vital member of our perioperative team, ensuring theatres run smoothly and patients receive the highest standard of care.
Every day will bring variety and purpose as you:
- Safely transport patients between wards and perioperative areas.
- Prepare and set up theatres for surgical procedures, including equipment checks.
- Assist clinical staff during procedures and patient positioning.
- Support theatre efficiency through cleaning, waste management, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Work alongside doctors, nurses, and non-clinical staff in a collaborative, supportive team.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being part of a close-knit team, and is passionate about making a meaningful difference to patient care.
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III in Health Services (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience in an operating theatre environment (highly desirable).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Physical capacity to undertake the demands of the role.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
- A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.
Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate from $29.70 - $31.98 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 2).

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
