About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Physiotherapist to provide excellent care for our patients as a key member of our weekend physiotherapy service. As a Physiotherapist you will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, applying your skillset within the private rehabilitation unit providing care to our geriatric patients.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified Physiotherapist with proven skills and experience in a hospital setting. Your capacity to provide best practice Physiotherapy input, along with your ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with patients, staff and other stakeholders is essential to this role.
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum of 1-2 years post-graduate experience in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate evidence-based practice assessments and interventions across a range of conditions, with specific focus on inpatient rehabilitation and the geriatric population.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and experience in supporting and overseeing a Physiotherapy Assistant.
