We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Coder to join our dedicated team at Pindara Private Hospital. In this full-time role, you will contribute to accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical coding across a diverse casemix in a supportive and professional environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Coding Manager, you will:

• Undertake accurate and timely clinical coding in accordance with coding standards.
• Apply advanced knowledge of AR-DRG and private health funding models.
• Contribute to quality outcomes and continuous improvement within the Coding team.

What You’ll Bring

• A recognised clinical coding qualification – HIMAA, tertiary HIM qualification, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS (12th edition) across a broad casemix.
• Strong understanding of AR-DRG and private health funding models.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in coding practice.

Remuneration: On offer a base rate ranging from $42 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (HPSS).

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
