As our new Internal Communications Officer, you’ll join a strategic, united team that is driving change, building culture and keeping our people connected in one of Australia’s most respected private healthcare providers. You’ll be part of a supportive, trusted team that values fresh thinking and works with purpose every day.
Your initial focus will be supporting employee communications linked to enterprise agreement processes across Australia, helping our people stay informed and engaged as these discussions progress. You will also contribute to broader communication initiatives that strengthen Ramsay’s culture and performance, including campaigns around our sustainability commitments, wellbeing and recognition.
What you’ll do
• Support clear, timely and accessible employee communications for enterprise agreement processes, national campaigns and key change initiatives
• Create engaging and effective internal content for digital channels including intranet, email and video
• Help manage and maintain our core internal communications platforms
• Partner with leaders, hospitals and teams across Australia to share news and celebrate our people and innovation
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves connecting with people and understands the art, science and power of great communication.
• Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or similar or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in internal or corporate communications
• Strong writing skills, confident communicator, clear thinker
• Collaborative, proactive and people-focused
• Sound judgement and discretion when communicating on complex or sensitive topics
• Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines
• Experience using intranets or digital publishing tools
• Interested in emerging communication trends and new ways to connect people at work
• Experience in healthcare or complex, regulated sectors is a bonus, not a must
