About the role

Join our small, friendly hospital as a Theatre Technician at Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie. We have three operating suites and specialise in Orthopaedics, Plastics, Pain Management, and Dental procedures. This is a permanent part-time position within a dynamic team.

• Prepare the operating theatre environment for procedures
• Support health care professionals in the Theatre environment
• Source instruments and equipment to ensure the set up for the following day are complete

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy ward.

You will also bring;

• Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent will be desirable or working towards obtaining
• The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with occasional evening shifts.

Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The Hospital

Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie specialises in providing care for private short-stay patients undergoing orthopaedic and specialist surgery. The hospital’s purpose-designed day stay area has 12 beds. There are a further 19 beds for patients requiring overnight care.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
