The Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Assistants (PSAs) to join our Internal Patient Transport team. We have a permanent part-time opportunity available, this role will see you supporting patients and clinical teams across multiple hospital departments.
In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety while contributing to the smooth operation of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
- Assist with patient transfers and manual handling (using aides where required).
- Support clinical teams during patient admissions, transfers, and emergencies.
- Clean and maintain equipment within the department.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas in line with infection control standards.
About You
You thrive in a busy hospital environment, adapt quickly to changing demands, and consistently uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism.
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, Aged Care, or Care Support (desirable).
- Recent experience in an acute hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, nights, and on-call shifts.
Desirable:
- Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3).
- Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
