The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill a Patient Service Assistant role in our busy hospital. This role will see you working with an assisting clinical staff, and completing orderly tasks such as:

  • Transporting patients between wards and departments
  • Cleaning and linen / waste removal
  • Fetch and carry equipment and supplies.

 

About You

  • Possess Certificate lll in Health Service Assistance
  • Demonstrated experience as Patient Services Assistant / Hospital Orderly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
  • Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
  • Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.

 

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $27.66 + 25% casual loading + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
