Reporting to our Director of Finance, the Front Office Manager has the overall responsibility for ensuring delivery of excellent customer service and revenue protection through timely and accurate processing of admissions. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and support to a large team that cover various admin functions within the hospital.
Key accountabilities:
• Managing the patient administration process which include scheduling, booking, verifying patient’s health fund coverage and providing accurate cost estimate / informed financial consent
• Ensure accurate and timely provision of paperwork / certificates related to admissions required to submit claims
• Liaise with internal and external customers / stakeholders to assist with the admission process
• Provide leadership and ongoing training to administration staff
• Support the culture for continuous improvement and lead the change management process where required.

To be successful for this role you will bring:
• Experience in all areas of front office management.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn, be flexible and ability to adapt to changes
• Ability to understand and apply the practicalities of health fund contracts
Desirable Criteria:
• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or related discipline
• Knowledge of Health Fund contracting system and processes
• Meditech or similar patient administration software experience
