About the Role
We are seeking a Provisional psychologist and/or Psychologist to join our Allied Health Mental Health team, supporting both inpatient and day program group therapy services. This hands-on role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating group therapy programs aligned with The Ramsay Model of Care, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Allied Health professionals, Nurses, and support staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating and coordinating therapeutic group programs and individual therapy as required.
- Providing education and practical training to clinical staff, including department orientation, in-servicing, and clinical competency programs.
- Ensuring ongoing quality improvement in the delivery of care and therapy programs.
- Contributing to a supportive and flexible work environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health professional to take on a key role within a collaborative, flexible, and supportive team.
About You
You are a Provisional Psychologist (5/1) or psychologist with proven experience in leading and coordinating evidence-based therapeutic group programs across inpatient and outpatient settings. You have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, and are passionate about delivering high-quality client care.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate group therapy programs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide individual therapy as required, using evidence-based approaches.
- Support clinical staff through training, in-servicing, and competency programs.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality mental health services aligned with The Ramsay Model of Care.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised tertiary qualifications as a psychologist.
- Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body.
- Experience in therapeutic group leadership and coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead evidence-based therapy programs (e.g., CBT).
- Excellent planning, organisational, and service delivery skills.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a discipline-specific or mental health-related field (desirable).
