We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac Catheter Lab team at Cairns Private Hospital.
With both permanent full-time and casual positions available, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a highly specialised and rewarding environment.

Our Cath Lab team plays a vital role at the heart of the hospital with a dedicated group of professionals performing a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures, including structural heart and electrophysiology. Working alongside expert cardiologists and cardiac anaesthetists, you will be part of a team that delivers exceptional care and makes a real impact on patients’ lives every day.

About You

You are a positive, motivated, and adaptable team player who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment. With strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills, you deliver the highest standard of patient care.

You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Critical care, Cath Lab, or cardiology experience essential
• Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred (but not essential)
• Enrolled Nurses (DIV 2) with Cath Lab experience are encouraged to apply
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential late finishes
• Availability for on-call and weekend coverage as required
• A commitment to teamwork and professional excellence

Remuneration:  On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

Cairns Private Hospital, located in tropical far north Queensland, is a modern, well-equipped facility offering a comprehensive range of medical and allied health services. Situated just 150 metres from the Cairns Esplanade, the hospital is within easy walking distance of the heart of Cairns’ vibrant tourist precinct. 

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
