Frances Perry House birth suite is seeking an experienced permanent Midwife to join the team.

About the Role

In this role, you will be working alongside a team dedicated to delivering a high standard of care for mothers, newborns and their families. It would involve assessing and caring for women in labour in collaboration with Obstetricians. We care for women who are both low and high risk. We are passionate about promoting holistic and patient centred care.

Each year, we deliver over 3000 babies. We also have a unique advantage of being co-located with the Royal Women’s Hospital. This allows us to provide our patients with the highest standard of private hospital care whilst having access to tertiary level care facilities of the Royal Women’s Hospital if required.

About you

To succeed in this role you will require an experienced and strong clinical skillset .You will have a high standard of patient centred care and customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a maternity setting
• Recent birth suite experience essential
• Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster.
• Commitment to complete RANSCOG CTG training

Remuneration: 

On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements
