The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cardiac Technician to join our Cardiac Catheter Lab at Westmead Private Hospital in a permanent part time position. The Cath Lab completes procedures in Coronary Angiography and Intervention, Structural Heart Procedures including ASD, PFO and LAA Closures, Electrophysiology Studies, Pacemakers, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Procedures. Our department operates Monday to Friday with an on-call component after hours and on weekends. To be successful in this role, you will work effectively within a team and independently as required.

Skills and Experience

You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience within a Cardiac Catheterisation or Cardiac Electrophysiology environment.

Essential:

• Minimum two (2) years post-grad clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Experience with Cardiac Electrophysiology Studies, Pacing Manoeuvres and Cardiac Ablation monitoring (GE MacLab / ComboLab)
• Completion of a recognised Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Electrophysiology or higher tertiary qualification
• Passionate mentor with the ability to support our team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
