We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to join our compassionate and skilled team on a casual basis. About the Role

Our Level 5 Intensive Care Unit includes four accredited ICU beds and four close observation/telemetry beds, offering a diverse range of clinical experiences caring for a variety of medical and surgical patients.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, nurses, and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care.

About You

You are an experienced Critical Care Nurse who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced clinical environments. With excellent communication and teamwork skills, you take pride in your ability to provide calm, confident, and compassionate care to patients and their families.

You will bring:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Intensive Care or Critical Care (highly regarded).
• Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
• Proven teamwork, critical thinking, and time management skills.

Remuneration: A base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).
