Join a passionate team of healthcare professionals and take on a key leadership role in the Perioperative Department at Pindara Private Hospital. With 16 operating theatres, 2 endoscopy suites, and a cardiac catheter lab, our department provides a wide range of surgical services.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to optimise resources, ensure best-practice care delivery, and mentor a team of nurses and clinical support staff. This is an ideal full-time or part-time opportunity for a senior nurse to expand their leadership skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing and clinical support staff in the perioperative setting.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and problem-solving within your specialty.
  • Assist in planning and implementing policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, risk management, and infection control compliance.

Skills and Experience

  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in ENT specialty.
  • High-level clinical competence and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in mentoring, training, and developing staff.
  • Strong knowledge of quality and infection control processes.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and patients.

 

Remuneration: $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
