Join our dedicated Clinical Education Team as the Perioperative Clinical Educator at Greenslopes Private Hospital. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity providing education and clinical expertise to support our expanding perioperative services.
In this leadership-focused role, you will guide and mentor a team of Clinical Facilitators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Perioperative Clinical Facilitators to design and deliver evidence-based education programs.
- Coordinate department-based training and clinical competency assessments.
- Provide clinical support and mentorship to perioperative nursing teams.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
About You
You are a confident and collaborative Registered Nurse with a strong background in perioperative practice and a passion for education. You bring excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging learning programs across a dynamic clinical environment.
Essential Criteria
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative department.
- Demonstrated ability to educate staff in both formal and informal settings.
- Proven capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Criteria
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
- Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing or Clinical Education (or working towards).

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
