About the Role
We are seeking General Services Officer - Porter to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. This opportunity will have you being a part of a great team of people responsible for ensuring patients are able to attend their therapies.
- Provide transportation for inpatients via wheelchairs to and from therapy.
- Follow a set schedule of transporting patients and work as a part of the portering and therapy teams.
- Effectively provide assistance and support to the Portering Team Leader and the Inpatient Therapy Manager in the effective delivery of portering services within the Hospital.
Your Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a schedule of patient transfers effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High standard of customer service and a team approach.
- Understanding of quality improvement principles.
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
- Knowledge of patient handling principles and techniques.
Remuneration:
On offer is an hourly rate of $27.2 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
