About the Role
As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will help ensure a safe and positive experience for our patients, visitors and staff.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are computer literate, well-organised, and confident coordinating daily tasks. You will work closely with a supportive team who truly live our commitment to “People Caring for People”.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
• Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
• Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
• Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (healthcare experience is an advantage).
• A strong customer service focus and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
