The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated Level 1 Physiotherapist with an interest in the acute hospital setting.  In this role you will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning with a focus on quality, safety and patient outcomes. You will work alongside other highly motivated and dedicated Allied Health staff in achieving exceptional outcomes and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. At North Shore, we pride ourselves on our high level of care and patient outcomes. We provide a broad range of health care needs from day surgery procedures to highly complex surgery. 
You will be working in our Acute Inpatient Unit covering the clinical areas including orthopaedics, ICU, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery. This role does require weekend availability and have an on-call component.
 
About you
You are a motivated physiotherapist with strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and deliver excellent, customer-focused care in line with our Ramsay values.
 
Your Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
 
- 1 year or more experience in a hospital setting an advantage
 
- Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
 
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
 
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
 
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
 
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
