About the Role
 
An opportunity has arisen for motivated and positive Patient Equipment Officers to join our Occupational Therapy department at
 
Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) on a casual basis. The service provides Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy loan equipment to patients upon discharge from hospital as prescribed by our therapists.
 
 
The role will entail, but is not limited to;
- To facilitate the delivery, retrieval and maintenance of patient loan equipment for the patients and internal customers of Joondalup Health Campus
 
- Organisation, inventory management and storage of equipment
 
- Delivering equipment to the patient equipment centre, wards and therapy areas
 
- Sanitising and maintenance of returned equipment
 
- Liaison with hospital staff, patients and the general public
 
- Additional duties as directed by the Occupational Therapy Manager and Specialist Coordinator.
 
 
About You
 
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following criteria;

- Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications;
 
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
