About the Role
The Theatre Stores Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the stores, supply and procurement functions of the four facilities in the Pindara Hospital network.
This role will encompass (but is not limited to):
- Organising the effective management of the supply functions for the facilities.
- Ensuring procurement is undertaken in line with hospital and corporate purchasing procedures.
- Continually ensuring stock supply chain is maintained with suppliers.
- Maintaining appropriate quantities of stock to meet the needs of the hospital.
- Providing information and assistance along with a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Regularly working with the accounts department to ensure quick and prompt payment of invoices.
This role is responsible for the human resources and operational management of a team of supply officers, including the Theatre Stores team, as well as engaging in the management of staff to ensure that the store is operating effectively.
While this role will be predominantly based at Pindara Private Hospital, this position will also act as support to nearby hospitals, Southport Private Hospital, Short Street Day Surgery and Pindara Day Procedure Centre.
About You
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
- All-encompassing experience in a high-volume purchasing department within a corporate environment. Applications with Hospital Supply Management experience will be highly regarded.
- A detailed knowledge of medical consumables and equipment would be highly regarded
- Excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve
- A high level of computer skills for Outlook and Excel and preferably experience with SAP
- Proven experience effectively managing teams and human resources personnel to achieve a productive and cohesive working environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety issues, particularly manual handling.
- Any relevant logistics/supply qualifications will be highly desired.

Requirements
