About the Role
As the Medical Services Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the Medical Services team, ensuring the effective coordination of day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing telephone and email enquiries, diary coordination, and meeting organisation (including minute-taking)
 
- Overseeing staff rostering, recruitment, and payroll enquiries
 
- Supporting term and leave allocations for junior medical officers
 
- Coordinating education and training programs, including Grand Rounds and orientation sessions
 
- Collaborating closely with the Medical Services Manager and Medical Education Officer to ensure quality education and training experiences
 
This role is key to maintaining strong communication between our medical teams and rural partner sites while supporting our doctors during their rotations.
 
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented administrator with:
- At least three years of experience in a similar administrative role
 
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
 
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
 
- A commitment to accuracy, teamwork, and delivering outstanding customer service
 
Experience supporting medical or education services will be highly regarded.

Remuneration: Base hourly rate of $37.49 + superannuation (dependent on experience and qualifications), exclusive of penalties and allowances (GPH Clerk – Level 5 Year 1).
