About the Role

Pindara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our Cardiac Medical Ward as a Clinical Nurse Educator. In this pivotal role, you will lead the education, training, and competency programs within the department, ensuring our team delivers safe, evidence-based, and high-quality cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a clinical expert and resource for staff across all aspects of cardiac nursing.
• Provide ongoing education, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Develop and facilitate training sessions, learning activities, and competency assessments.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager on staff appraisals, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive and professional learning culture while maintaining strong relationships with medical and multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum three years of post-graduate experience in cardiac nursing.
• Proven ability to interpret and analyse ECGs.
• Experience in nursing education and staff development (highly desirable).
• Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or cardiovascular nursing (preferred).

Remuneration: Base hourly rate of $54.72 – $58.82 plus superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications (exclusive of penalties or allowances).

Requirements

• Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months

• According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
