Are you a passionate cardiac nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dynamic team, driving excellence in education and professional development across our Cardiology, Cardiothoracic, and Coronary Care Units.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based education to nursing staff across multiple specialties.
- Design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that support clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to quality initiatives, fostering best practice and innovation in patient care.
You’ll work closely with Nurse Unit Managers and clinical teams to build capability, mentor staff, and promote a culture of lifelong learning.
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in cardiac nursing
- Graduate Certificate (equivalent or working towards) in cardiac nursing
- Strong teaching and presentation skills
- Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude toward learning and professional growth
Desirable Criteria:
- Advanced Life Support certification
- Experience in policy development
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or working towards
- Strong computer literacy
