About The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a psychologist to join our team to facilitate therapy group sessions for both inpatient & day patient therapy programs.
The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and engagement of patients across age groups. You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients participating in these unique programs.
About You
You are a motivated and compassionate clinician with a genuine interest in recovery-focused mental health care. You have the confidence and creativity to facilitate therapeutic groups and the professionalism to manage complex clinical needs within a dynamic team setting.
You will bring:
- A recognised undergraduate and post graduate qualifications in Psychology.
- AHPRA registration with unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in group facilitation and patient engagement.
- Experience working with general adult patients including patients with alcohol use disorder.
- Strong clinical judgement, organisational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially teams.
- Desirable Experience in facilitating DBT programs to adults
- Strong team player
Remuneration:
Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
