About the role
As a Payroll Governance Analyst, you will apply your deep knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices to build strong governance frameworks, conduct audits, and identify risks before they become issues. Your proactive, analytical approach will help strengthen our processes and support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all payroll processes
• Implement and maintain payroll governance frameworks
• Conduct regular audits to identify risks and areas for improvement
• Analyse data to maintain integrity and support process optimisation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive governance excellence
Essential
• Extensive experience in payroll operations, governance, or compliance.
• Min 8+ years processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, employment tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and technologies, including experience with system implementations or upgrades.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
