About the Role
This Registered Nurse position requires advanced clinical knowledge and skill in the care and treatment of oncology patients. There will be an expectation for the successful candidate to work in the mixed specialty medical ward where there is a growing co-hort of oncology and haematology patients in addition to working in the day infusion centre.
The successful applicant must be proficient in the administration of Anti-cancer drugs, Immunotherapies and preferred to also have experience in intravesical chemotherapy and venesection. Mus also be proficient in the management and maintenance of Central Venous Access devices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ post-graduate experience in an acute hospital environment
- Recent Oncology experience
- Recent critical care experience, post-graduate certificates desirable
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster is essential.
