Become a part of a national clinical trials network within Ramsay Health Care!  Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator - 1 Year fixed term contract.
 
About the Role
 
The Clinical Trials & Research Unit at Pindara Private Hospital currently undertakes a range of trials across several disciplines, including haematology and oncology, with the expectation that the unit will continue to expand and offer services to other clinical disciplines within the Hospital.
 
Reporting to the Clinical Trials & Research Unit Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the clinical trials that they have been assigned. These activities will include:
 
• Coordination of patient visits in accordance with the clinical trial protocol
• Coordination of data collection and reporting for the clinical trial
• Active engagement with key sponsors and key doctor groups
• Management of a small team of coordinators
The role is dynamic and challenging and presents an opportunity to work with a highly engaged group of doctors. You will be given the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of a leading Clinical Trials & Research Unit and the broader Ramsay Clinical Trials Network.
 
About you
 
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
• Degree qualified in Nursing, Allied Health or Research
• Experience in patient facing clinical trials or clinical research activities, with prior exposure to the recruitment of patients and the collection and management of clinical trial data.  Experience in oncology or haematology trials would be beneficial.
• Experience working with busy clinicians and the ability to effectively manage workload within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to establish and manage relationships, working in partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership experience within Clinical Trials
• Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills and the capacity to take initiative, problem solve and assist in ensuring the success of each project.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and set goals whilst successfully managing competing priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia would be an advantage, but not essential.

Requirements
 
• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
