We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Hollywood Private Hospital on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, well-presented individual to join our professional guest orientated Food Services team. As a Cook, you are responsible for the section designated to you for the day by the Head Chef. You will be responsible for all food produced in this section for the hospital for patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital. The role is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all kitchen areas and all equipment within. To be successful you will have exceptional customer skills and the able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Available to work mornings and afternoon shifts (05:15 – 20:00)
- Working Saturdays & Sundays and most public holidays
- Will be required to work in patient facing areas
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital or hospital environment
- Minimum 12 months experience in a cook role
- A comprehensive understanding of Allergen management
- A comprehensive understanding of IDDSI
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Ability to problem solve and maintain good working relations with others
Remuneration
$32.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (L8/3)
