We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Environmental Services Assistants to join our dynamic team on a casual basis.
About the Role
As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and staff. You’ll work alongside a friendly and supportive team who embody our commitment to “People Caring for People”.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
- Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
- Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (healthcare experience is an advantage).
- A strong customer service focus and a friendly, can-do attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards

- Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
