About the Role
As a valued member of our Catering Team, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional food service by preparing patient meal trays, taking meal orders, and supporting basic food preparation tasks.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up service lines and serving meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
• Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requests.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Working across a rotating 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts. 

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will be a reliable team player who thrives in a busy environment.

You will also demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment but not essential.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable) 
• Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values.

Requirements

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
