About the role
Are you passionate about meaningful connection, recovery-focused care, and making a
difference in the lives of older adults? We are looking for an engaging and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team where collaboration, warmth and person-centred care is truly valued.
This role is offered as a 12-month Parental Leave Contract – 4 days per week (0.8 FTE)
Inpatient (3 Days) + Day Program (1 Day
As a Group Facilitator, you will:
• Lead welcoming, therapeutic, and skill-based groups
• Foster engagement, confidence and participation
• Support clients to build coping strategies and connection
• Work closely with a collaborative and caring team
• Contribute ideas to program growth and improvement
• Maintain clear and person-centred documentation
About you
We’d love to hear from you if have:
- Qualifications in Psychology, OT, Nursing (APHRA) or Social Worker (with
Professional Body membership)
- Experience in facilitating therapeutic, psychoeducation and skill-based groups
(CBT, DBT, ACT)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with demonstrated experience
working with older adults (geriatric population preferred)
- Training or experience in evidence-based approaches relevant to older adults
(e.g., CBT for older adults, Reminiscence Therapy, grief therapy, trauma-
informed care)
- Strong understanding of aging-related mental health issues, cognitive decline,
and chronic medical conditions
- A compassionate and engaging approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
