About the role
North West Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Scrub/Scout Registered & Enrolled Nurses to join our perioperative team on a permanent part-time basis.
This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality clinical care and exceptional service to patients and their families. We are seeking Registered and Enrolled nurses who specialise in Orthopaedics, Urology and Colorectal.
In this role, you will:
• Prepare instrumentation and consumables for surgical procedures.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operating theatre lists.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients throughout their surgical journey.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
About You
You are a dedicated, adaptable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced theatre environment. With a focus on patient-centred care, you bring both technical skill and a compassionate approach to every interaction.
You will bring:
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered and Enrolled Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate nursing experience in theatre preferred.
• Experience in Scrub/Scout.
• Strong assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities.
• Availability to participate in the on-call/recall roster.
Remuneration:
Enrolled Nurse: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6)
Registered Nurse : On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Requirements
• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
