About The Role
Northern Private Hospital is seeking for an adaptive and experienced Supply/Prosthesis Team Leader to join our stores and supply team. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Supply department to ensure it is achieving established team objectives and KPI requirements in line with the Hospital Strategic plan.
Ensure inventory management (medical supplies and equipment) requirements are met, including adequate stock is always available, accurate ordering and reconciliation of prosthesis items. This involves the end-to-end oversight from purchasing, receivals, storage and delivery throughout the hospital.
Your Skills and Experiences
Essential
• Minimum of 5 years previous inventory management and/or purchasing experience
• Experience in inventory management ( inc replenishment and stocktake)
• Experience in purchasing and purchase order management
• Ability to report and present supply information to senior management
• Understanding of inventory follow-on functions (i.e. accounts payable)
• Effective communication (both written & verbal) and proven interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & independently as required
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to multi-task
• Excellent organisational skills
• Proven commitment to safety, continual quality improvement and strong customer focus
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability to liaise, negotiate and problem solve with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working with purchasing and inventory control systems
Desirable
• Experience using SAP
• Hospital experience and broad knowledge of supply/ inventory related functions within the health care industry
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or eligibility for membership to CIPS (Chartered Institute Purchasing Services)
• Proven understanding of AS4187; handling and storage of sterile stock
• Completion or progress towards a diploma in Purchasing & Contract Management or equivalent
Remuneration
$33.00 - $36.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances

Requirements
• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
