The Opportunity

Pindara Private Hospital is proud to be one of the few hospitals in Australia to offer a dedicated unit specialising in neurosurgery, vascular, and breast/endocrine surgery. Our Neurosurgery Unit (3E) is a 25-bed ward with an additional four-bed close observation unit, providing specialised care to patients requiring complex neurological and surgical treatment.

We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent part-time basis (60 hours per fortnight). In this role, you will be part of a highly skilled, collaborative neurosurgical team that values clinical excellence, professional development and a strong, inclusive team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our highly skilled neurosurgical team, you will:

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in a post-operative surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout their recovery, responding to clinical changes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to maintaining a supportive and inclusive team culture.

Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Acute medical and surgical nursing experience essential; neurosurgical experience highly regarded.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ post-graduate nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both collaboratively within a team and autonomously when required.

Remuneration: On offer is base rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
