About the Role
A new exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to grow their career and provide the best quality care for our patients. You will be providing clinical support as part of the Occupational Therapy team at the Joondalup Health Campus Mental Health Unit.
The MHU has undergone major redevelopment and has opened its doors to a new facility with a capacity of 102 beds, including new youth and older adult units.
You will be providing clinical support as part of the Occupational Therapy team at the Joondalup Health Campus Mental Health Unit, including assessment and treatment programs, other therapeutic interventions, education, counselling and care to mental health consumers, significant others and family, in conjunction with other services, using a client centred, recovery focused model of care.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate treatment skills and the ability to plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy programmes in an inpatient mental health setting
- Work collaboratively demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Organise and prioritise a busy caseload with effective self-management skills, with a focus on self-development.

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
