The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for Mental Health Clinicians to join our Recovery Support Program. In this role you will be instrumental in facilitating care and support for our outpatients as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will need to have demonstrated confidence in the ability to engage patients across age groups and a variety of mental health diagnoses including mood disorders, addiction, eating disorders, personality disorders and trauma-related disorders.

Reporting to the Care Navigation Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager and multidisciplinary team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

 

Skills and Experience

You will have the ability to plan and coordinate individualised mental health care, with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Qualified as an Occupational Therapists (Mental Health), Social Worker (mental Health), psychologist, counsellor/therapist or Registered Nurse (with minimum 4 years’ experience and registered with the appropriate governing body)
  • Understanding of therapy program development using evidence base framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility
  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Suite
  • Have an unrestricted NSW drivers’ licence
  • Have a personal vehicle that may be used for work

Requirements

  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
