About the Role
Our leading cardiothoracic and general 12 bed Intensive Care Unit provides comprehensive care to critical care patients. Utilising renal replacement therapy, advanced haemodynamic monitoring, and advanced ventilation techniques, as well as all other general ICU care, our unit practices the highest standards in critical care.
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This will involve assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each individual patient in your care.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skill set with suitable qualifications, or extensive experience in critical care. You will have exceptional communication and organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have a passion for providing high quality care and be able to effectively work with a professional team to maintain Ramsay’s high standards.
You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of four (4) years’ recent experience in a ICU/critical care environment
- Proven ability to manage complex ICU therapies/care
- Formal qualifications in Critical Care desirable, but not essential
- Cardiothoracic experience will be highly regarded
Key to this role will be the flexibility to work across a weekly rotating roster with on-call components.

Requirements
