The Opportunity

We are seeking General Services Officer to work at part of our Georgies’ Café and Retail at St George Private Hospital. As a General Services Officer, you will work alongside a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values.

Your duties will include:

• Front facing customer service with hospital staff, patients, and members of the public.
• Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
• Assisting the broader team as required 
• Stock management.
• Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience in a fast-paced café and hospital kitchen environment, barista experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be given.

You will also demonstrate:

• Punctuality, reliability and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospital environment but not essential.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health, and Safety
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)

Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate of $27.20 + casual loading + super based on experience and qualifications.
