About the role
As a Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in driving projects from planning to delivery, using your analytical skills to turn data into insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. You’ll collect, interpret, and present information to track performance, uncover improvement opportunities, and demonstrate project impact.
By combining analytical capability with strong coordination skills, you will ensure initiatives run smoothly, efficiently, and transparently - making a real difference while keeping projects aligned with organisational goals.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project support within a complex organisational environment.
- Strong data analysis capability, including ability to interpret, synthesise and present data in a clear and meaningful way to support decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
- Ability to translate data insights into practical recommendations and improvement initiatives.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical thinking capability
Desirable:
- Experience working within the health system.
- Experience developing dashboard or reports
- Prior big 4 experience.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $64.86 + superannuation + levels of experience and qualifications.
