• Assistant in Nursing – Orthopaedic Ward ( Pope Ward)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our dynamic 30 bed acute Orthopaedic Ward. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and multidisciplinary clinicians caring for patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, spinal surgery and other musculoskeletal conditions.

About the Role

As an AIN in our Orthopaedic Ward, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through their recovery journey. You will assist with:

• Supporting patients with mobility, transfers and rehabilitation activities
• Providing high-quality personal care and assistance with daily living
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition
• Assisting with post-operative care and patient comfort
• Working collaboratively within a fast-paced surgical environment

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care) or equivalent
• Experience in an acute surgical or orthopaedic setting (highly regarded)
• A passion for helping patients regain mobility and independence
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Physical capability to assist with manual handling and patient mobility
