The Opportunity
Ramsay is undertaking a portfolio of transformational projects aimed at enhancing cyber security capabilities, with the goal of creating safer and more innovative experiences for patients, clinicians, partners, and staff. The organisation is seeking a Cyber Security Technical Business Analyst to drive this uplift, focusing on translating complex IAM and cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable business requirements and managing the selection and implementation of technologies such as Multi-Factor Authentication, Data Loss Prevention, Network Security, and IAM.
This position involves leading business analysis for key cyber initiatives, including developing business cases, validating requirements, conducting gap analyses, and modelling future-state solutions. Collaboration with Project Managers and stakeholders is essential to accurately capture requirements, support improvement initiatives, and ensure seamless transitions from project delivery to ongoing business operations.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
Criteria:
• Gather requirements, supporting a cyber security vision, working across functional groups, aligning with projects, and delivering business agility.
• Capturing, documenting, analysing, refining, and communicating functional & non-functional requirements across domains
• Have some experience in contributing to cyber security collaterals such as policy, procedures, standards, and guideline
• Experienced in cyber security transformations
• Translation of cyber security strategy into a deliverable set of technical capabilities, services, and solutions.
• Analyse current state and future state technical operations and work with colleagues to highlight and address gaps between state and strategy.
• Be skilled in vendor management, including hardware and software providers and consultants. Some RFP exposure beneficial.
• Assist in in developing operational support documentation when transitioning the project into business-as-usual.
• Present solutions to key stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Prepare estimates and statements of work, ensure delivery meets business objectives and timeline.
• Partner with enterprise architecture to create and continuously improve security architecture
• Provide support to security teams in the planning, deployment and execution of security business plans.
• Work within an Agile/sprint framework, including an understanding of the methodology, ceremonies, tools, etc.
• Use your excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel whether collaborating in a team environment or working autonomously.
Nice to have:
• Experience working with electronic medical records, patient portals, health applications, medical platforms and systems integration.
• Previous experience in the health care sector and working with confidential health data.
