Wren is the Women’s Recovery Network. Our vision is to reshape inpatient mental health services for women to support their recovery journey.
Wren is a public and private partnership, designed to transform mental health care for women. Our inpatient unit comprises of 14 general mental health beds, 5 perinatal beds and 5 eating disorder beds. We work with women who present with highly complex mental health and psychosocial needs, in a unit designed to provide gender sensitive, recovery-oriented care.
Clinicians, women and their support network come together to understand women’s experiences and develop gender, violence and trauma-informed care and support. We are committed to working in innovative ways to support women throughout their recovery journey.

Location: WREN Hospital in the Home Team and Wren inpatient service is based at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, 31 Albert Road. Ramsay Clinic is ideally located close to public transport (Anzac Station) and there is onsite discounted parking available.
The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Nurses to support the operation of our Ramsay Clinic Albert Road. You will be well-versed in the Mental Health specialty and provide support to our inpatients of our Eating Disorders Clinic. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years’ mental health nursing experience
- Recent experience working with in the specialties of eating disorders
- Post-graduate qualifications in mental health highly regarded
- Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
