We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Food Services Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced Catering Team at Baringa Private Hospital.

About the Role

As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals to our patients and staff. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving meals to patients throughout the hospital.
• Supporting meal tray setup and delivery via our tray line.
• Maintaining strict food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Assisting with general kitchen duties and stock control.
• Working across a rotating 7-day roster (including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts).

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or hospital setting (preferred but not essential).
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP knowledge desirable).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certificate II or III in Hospitality or Commercial Cookery (desirable).
• Alignment with Ramsay’s values and commitment to patient care.

Requirements
