The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be part of a growing team that provides Billing and Collections support to several Ramsay Health Care private hospitals across Australia. The role is based at Ramsay Clinic Caloundra, Patient Accounts - North QLD Billing Hub.
You’ll help ensure accurate billing processes and provide excellent support to patients, health funds and third-party payers.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Generate and submit accounts to patients, health funds and third-party payers
- Liaise with health funds and customers to resolve billing matters
- Manage account enquiries and follow up outstanding items
- Maintain the Aged Trial Balance in line with required KPIs
- Perform accurate data entry and processing tasks
About You
You are reliable, organised and take pride in delivering accurate work. With strong attention to detail and great time-management skills, you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve results.
You’re also a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders across the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Billing Patient accounts or/and debt collection experience
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and proactive approach
- Ability to manage tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targets
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel
