The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a sought‑after Occupational Therapy role within a growing, future‑focused rehabilitation service. With a brand‑new OT workspace and an expanding allied health team, you’ll be joining at a pivotal moment — one where your ideas, clinical strengths, and passion for rehabilitation can genuinely shape the service.

Our rehabilitation program is thriving, supported by modern equipment, streamlined digital systems, and a multidisciplinary team that embraces innovation. You’ll work across inpatient rehabilitation with a component of outpatient therapy, giving you a balanced and engaging caseload while contributing to a service that is continually evolving.

We also understand that balance matters. Enjoy 8am–4pm hours, no late nights, and flexible arrangements that support parents, carers, and anyone seeking a healthier work–life rhythm.

If you are someone who is genuinely passionate about rehabilitation and thrives on helping patients regain independence and confidence, this role offers the perfect environment to do meaningful, rewarding work every day.

Your Caseload

At Albury Wodonga Private Hospital, you will work primarily within inpatient rehabilitation, with a portion of your week dedicated to outpatient therapy. Your caseload will be diverse, with a strong emphasis on:

  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation — supporting patients following elective hip and knee replacements to regain independence in daily activities
  • Reconditioning — assisting patients recovering from illness, injury, or hospitalisation to rebuild function, endurance, and confidence
  • General inpatient rehab needs — functional assessments, ADL retraining, equipment prescription, discharge planning, and collaborative goal setting

This mix ensures you’ll continue to grow your clinical expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and long‑term wellbeing.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • A rare OT rehabilitation position in a supportive, well‑resourced private hospital
  • A brand‑new OT workspace designed to enhance both patient care and clinician experience
  • Opportunities to contribute ideas, shape services, and be part of a team that values innovation
  • A stable, friendly, multidisciplinary environment where your voice and expertise matter
  • Flexible hours and a genuine commitment to work–life balance.
