About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated and experienced Scrub Nurse to join our dynamic team at St Andrews Ipswich Private Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play an essential role in supporting perioperative workflow. You will be supported by experienced clinical educators and have ongoing professional development opportunities, all while contributing to a hospital known for its excellence in patient outcomes and supportive team culture.
As a Scrub Nurse you will perform duties supported by a dedicated educator ensuring direct access to education and professional development to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the Perioperative Department. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting perioperative workflow and maintaining timely theatre schedules
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment
- Promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions
About You

To be successful for this role:
- Relevant current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years Scrubbing experience in various specialty
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of current relevant guidelines, regulations and standards
Remuneration
A base hourly rate, based on experience level and qualifications $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
