Supply Officer – Wangaratta Private Hospital

The Opportunity
Wangaratta Private Hospital has an opportunity for a Supply Officer to join our collaborative Stores Department, working throughout the facility in a permanent part time position offering flexible work-life balance.
About The Role:
To provide an effective and efficient supply service (including receivables, processing, storage and delivery) of medical, non-medical consumables and other agreed items for the Hospital.
In this role you will be responsible for providing effective management and distribution of stock throughout the hospital. You will be working in a busy environment and must be willing to work as part of a team and within WH&S and Infection Control guidelines.
Duties Include:
- Scanning, picking and packing of stock.
- Delivering of stock to Hospital department storerooms
- Ordering of stock to replenish to set levels utilising computer systems.
About You
You will be a highly organised and thrive in a process-based work environment. Previous experience in a Supply Department will enable you to succeed in this role.
The Supply Officer role requires accuracy and time management skills with a strong team focus. An intermediate level of computer literacy/knowledge is required for this role.
You will bring to the role,
- Demonstrated experience in a supply position is preferred, with medical stock experience being highly regarded.
- Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday
- Experience with computer-based stock control systems (particularly SAP) will be well regarded.

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
- Wangaratta private Hospital requires a Working-With-Children check
